O objetivo deste trabalho foi avaliar, via marcador de DNA (RAPD - Polimorfismo de DNA amplificado ao acaso), a estrutura genética de populações naturais de P. hispidineivum no Vale do Rio Acre.

Variabilité génétique entre les classes d'âge chez le pageot commun (Pagellus erythrinus, Sparidae) des côtes nord Tunisiennes OceanDocs

La variabilité génétique entre les classes d’âge du pageot commun, Pagellus erythrinus (Linnaeus, 1758 ; Sparidae) a été appréhendée par une analyse isoenzymatique. L’étude aà été portée sur 251 spécimens des côtes Nord de la Tunisie. L’âge des poissons a été estimé indirectement par analyse otolithométrique. Les quatorze systèmes enzymatiques utilisés sont codés par 21 loci dont 10 sont polymorphes au seuil de 99%. Le taux d’hétérozygotie attendu non biaisé moyen (Hnb = 0,048) est comparable à celui rapporté chez les espèces ichtyologiques, notamment les Sparidés. La vérification de l’équilibre de Hardy-Weinberg montre un écart significatif à la panmixie dans le sens d’un déficit en Hétérozygotes (FIS = 0,116, p < 0,001). L’indice de diversité...

การตอบสนองทางสรีรวิทยาต่อความเครียดเนื่องจากความร้อนในโคนมที่มีจีโนไทป์ที่แตกต่างกันของยีน HSP70-2 Thai Agricultural

HSP70-2 is well accepted as an indicator of heat stress. The purpose of this study was to investigate the physiological responses to heat stress of differential genotypes of HSP70-2 in dairy cattle. Thirty two female Holstein Friesian (HF) crossbred heifers, 2-3 years of age, 266 ± 5.6 kg body weight were placed outdoor with partial roof. Blood samples were collected to do genotyping of HSP70-2 using polymerase chain reaction-restriction fragment length polymorphism (PCR-RFLP) technique. Ambient temperature, relative humidity and physiological responses, including rectal temperature, respiration rate, sweating rate, pulse rate, skin temperature, and N/L ratio were examined at 06.00, 14.00, 18.00 and 22.00. Seed morphology of 50 local rice varieties in the southern Thailand was studied in length, width, 100 seed weight, colour, and hair of husked seed and length, width, length/width ratio, shape and colour of dehusked seed. Five rice varieties of central Thailand were used as an outgroup. There is variation in all characters measured except the hair of husked seed and colour of dehusked seed. Husked seed width and dehusked seed width and length/width ratio have normal distribution. Dendrogram showing the relationship among rice varieties will be presented in the meeting.
